Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A study in black and white at Tiffany Falls nr. Hamilton Ontario. Despite the warm temperatures (-5c) the ice is forming nicely so I dragged the shutter to give a silky feel to the falls juxtaposing the hard edged ice formations.
